We dance swing and rock'n'roll, and we teach because we love the moment a beginner realises they can do this. We're not champions and we're still learning ourselves — what we are is friendly, patient, and very good at getting nervous first-timers moving and smiling.

We've taught in Australia and in Bali, and most weeks you'll find us at The Jitterbug Club in Sydney, where we teach and social dance.

Never danced before? Perfect.

Complete beginners are our favourite people to teach. No partner needed, no experience needed, no special shoes — just come as you are.

The best first step: a beginner class at The Jitterbug Club — swing on Wednesdays, rock'n'roll on Tuesdays. We teach there, and we'll look after you from the moment you walk in.

Too nervous for a group class? Email us — a relaxed private lesson before class is a lovely way in.

What we teach

Beginner swing & rock'n'roll — the fun, social kind. Our whole aim is to get you comfortable on a social dance floor.
Aerials — flips, dips and lifts, taught safely and progressively. (We promise not to drop you.)
Wedding first dances — a dance that feels like you, not a routine you're bracing through. Patient, judgement-free, beginner-proof.
Private lessons — solo or as a couple, before class or by arrangement.

For event organisers

We're happy to teach at socials, exchanges and workshops — we've taught in Australia and Bali and we travel well. If you'd like a short bio, photos, or a chat about what your event needs, email us and we'll send the lot.
